Industry News: Illinois Swimming, Discover Card Enter Into Sponsorship Agreement

DES PLAINES, Illinois, February 24. EXECUTIVE Director of Illinois Swimming, Pete Kozura, announced today that Discover has become the "Preferred Card of Illinois Swimming." Illinois Swimming is the second largest Local Swim Committee within USA Swimming, has more than 17,000 registered athletes, and more than 2,000 coaches and officials, representing 116 swim clubs.

The sponsorship agreement, which runs for two years, will include Discover advertising, signage and announcements at all Age Group and Senior Championship swim meets. In addition, the "Top Ten Times List" at www.ilswim.org, one of the most visited pages of the Illinois Swimming website, will be title sponsored by Discover.

Illinois Swimming members, officials and clubs will benefit from the partnership through a variety of discounts, gift cards and rewards on purchases at meets and of merchandise, whenever they use Discover.
