LIVERMORE, California, February 22. FINIS, a technical swim company, announces the sponsorship of Colorado-based Loveland Swim Club to a two year deal. Loveland Swim Club is the largest and oldest USA Swimming Program in northern Colorado and has a storied history producing age-group champions, Junior National Champions, National Championship Finalists and Olympic Trial qualifiers.

According to Jim Nickell, Head Coach at Loveland Swim Club, "Technique is the best way to swim faster. With the great teaching and training products FINIS produces, combined with their new 2010 FINA-approved Championship suits, FINIS is the best choice for Loveland Swim Club."

As a FINIS Team, Loveland Swim Club will benefit from the entire range of FINIS technical training products including the center-mount Swimmer's Snorkel, Z2 Zoomers fins, and the Tempo Trainer. Loveland will also have priority to the new Hydrospeed Flux and Velo championship suits and gain access to Finis' exclusive beta testing program for products in development.

"We are extremely happy to have Loveland Swim Club and especially Jim Nickell on board as a FINIS Sponsored Team. Jim has used many of our technical training products for years, so it's exciting to be able to provide a full sponsorship package. Loveland will be an excellent showcase not only for our technical gear but also for our high-quality Fina approved championship suits, including the Hydrospeeds," said FINIS's Vice President Tim Elson.

FINIS Inc, was founded in 1993 by John Mix and Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer Pablo Morales. Many of these products are currently used by US and international Olympic teams, elite Triathletes, and fitness swimmers worldwide.

Innovative research and design is FINIS' highest priority. This dedication has resulted in truly innovative products such as: the Swimmer's Snorkel which is recognized as the paramount tool to improve swimmers technique, the SwiMP3 that uses bone conduction technology to play music instead of ear buds and the Z2 Zoomers which demonstrate intimate knowledge of swimming musculature, hydrodynamics and engineering.
