Hugh Wilder Lowers Pair of FINA Masters World Records

ATLANTA, Georgia, December 16. TWO weeks ago, Hugh Wilder of the Southern Marlins Racing Team lowered a pair of his own FINA Masters world records in short course meter action.

At the 2009 St. Nicholas SCM Invitational held on Dec. 5, Wilder posted a 30.80 in the men's 60-64 50 back. That swim beat his previous record of 30.87 set in 2007.

Here's the recent progression of that record thanks to FINA:

Wilder also posted a 1:07.31 in the men's 60-64 100 back to nip his previous best effort in the age division of 1:07.37. He'd set the previous mark on the same date as his 50 back record in 2007.
