Polish Short Course Championships: Agata Korc, Aleksandra Urbanczyk, Konrad Czerniak Set National Record

GORZOW WIELKOPOLSKI, Poland, November 27. THE Polish Short Course Championships featured three more national records falling on the second night.

Agata Korc cleared 26 seconds for the first time in the women's 50 fly. Her 25.94 beat her previous national record of 26.15 set at the 2008 World Championships. Aleksandra Urbanczyk beat 1:00 in the women's 100 IM with a 59.53. She broke her national mark of 1:00.37 set in November. Konrad Czerniak turned in a 50.11 to set the men's 100 fly record. He broke the 51.60 set by Marcin Babuchowski in December 2008.

Katarzyna Wilk touched first in the women's 100 free with a time of 53.82, while Radoslaw Kawecki captured the men's 50 back in 24.08. Mateusz Matczak cruised in the men's 400 IM with a 4:04.48. Agnieszka Ostrowska posted the first-place time in the women's 200 breast with a 2:24.12.

Lukasz Gasior won the men's 100 free in 48.50, while Paula Lukowska set a national age group record with an 8:34.84 in the women's 800 free. Krzysztof Pielowski claimed the men's 800 free in 7:48.42. Alicja Tchorz topped the women's 100 back in 58.43. Piotr Galka won the men's 100 breast in 59.35.
