PERTH, Australia, October 27. BOLD Park Club's Victor Paul continued his savaging of Australian Masters 65-69 year records on consecutive Sundays recently. He first set a record at a short course meet in Mandurah, then returned at a long course meet in Fremantle.

In Mandurah, Paul took 19.56 seconds off John Crisp's 2002 400-meter freestyle record in a time of 5:03.87. He also took the 400-meter breaststroke record set by Victoria's Frances Godden in June this year. He broke the record by 7.83 seconds in a time of 6:52.06 on his way through to an Australian 800-meter breaststroke record of 13:41.43, taking 23.25 seconds off Tony Goodwin's 2005 record.

The next weekend in Fremantle, Paul took his 200-meter freestyle mark set in May this year down a further 0.63 seconds in a time of 2:27.26.
