Gail Roper Takes Down FINA Masters Record

ST. GEORGE, Utah, October 12. DURING the Huntsman World Senior Games held in St. George, Utah, Gail Roper became the first woman in the 80-84 age group to clear 2:00 in the 100 fly over short course meters.

Roper clocked a time of 1:58.33 to break the previous record of 2:02.63 set by Lois Kivi Nochman back in 2004.

Roper also told Swimming World that she did not wear a technical suit during the record-breaking swim.
