Oakland Intrasquad Meet

ROCHESTER, Michigan, September 25. TEAM Black came away with the sweep for The Oakland University men's and women's swimming and diving teams at the Black/Gold meet, Friday night. On the men's side, Black beat Gold 160-127 while the women's black squad won 163-33. Oakland is back in action, Saturday, Sept. 26 with the annual alumni meet. The meet is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.

For the men, Alex Aceino and Anders Jensen led the way for team Black as they won three events each. Aceino won the 100 butterfly and the 500 and 1000 freestyle events. Jensen captured the 100 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 200 IM. Winning two events apiece was Adam Ralph (1 and 3-meter boards), Eddy Toro (100, 200 breaststroke) and Marcin Unold (50, 100 free).

For the women, Vanessa Balogh took first in three events for team Black. She won the 100 butterfly and the 500 and 1000 free events. Finishing with two wins each was Sandra Czerska (100, 200 fly), Chelsea Oates (1 and 3-meter boards) and Agnes Solan (100, 200 back).
