Oswaldo Quevedo Sets U.S. Masters Swimming Record in 100 Fly

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, June 29. OVER the weekend at the Speedo International Age Group Invitational, Oswaldo Quevedo added the U.S. Masters Swimming 100 fly 30-34 age division over long course meters to his resume.

Quevedo, who already owns the LCM record in the division in the 50 fly with a 24.73, clocked a time of 56.18 in the 100 fly this weekend. That performance eclipsed the 56.25 set by Razvan Petcu back in 2004.

The only remaining butterfly record in the age division not held by Quevedo stands to Bobby Patten with a 2:03.85 in the 200 fly set back in 1995.
