Lois Kivi Nochman Sets Another Pair of FINA Masters World Records

MILFORD, Michigan, March 24. RECENTLY, Lois Kivi Nochman added two more FINA Masters world records to the four she set last month in short course meters in the 85-89 age division.

At a meet in Michigan, Nochman clocked a time of 10:28.05 in the women's 400 IM to beat the 1999 record of 10:55.73 set by Jean Durston. She returned with a 1:01.73 in the women's 50 fly to break another 1999 Durston standard of 1:07.35.

The pair of global standards gives Nochman a career total of 94 U.S. Masters Swimming national records and 48 FINA Masters world records.

Meanwhile, Kevin Doak clocked a 55.26 in the 100 back to lower his USMS national record of 55.65 in the 25-29 age group.
