USA Swimming Sectionals, Oklahoma City: Shannon Vreeland, Evan Noble Double Up

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, March 6. THE second night of swimming at the USA Swimming Sectionals held in Oklahoma City featured a pair of swimming capturing a pair of titles. Kansas City Blazer Shannon Vreeland and CSP Tiderider Evan Noble both doubled up.

Vreeland opened the night with a winning time of 1:47.01 in the women's 200-yard free. The effort cleared the meet record of 1:47.65 set by Helene Muller in 2002. Noble earned the men's 200-yard free title with a time of 1:38.57 for the win.

Aquahawk Emma Reaney came up next with a triumphant time of 1:02.57 in the women's 100-yard breast, while Kansas City Blazer Nate Ladner posted a meet-record time of 55.45 to win the men's 100-yard breast. The effort beat his preliminary standard of 55.74.

Topeka Swim's Emily Dicus walked away with the women's 100-yard fly crown with a time of 54.61, while Swim Tulsa's Dylan Lynn then touched out AquaHawgs' Ellis Miller, 49.21 to 49.27, in the men's 100-yard fly.

The 400-yard IMs completed the individual events for the night as Vreeland doubled up with a winning time of 4:17.02. Noble also clinched another meet record with his double win when he clocked a 3:55.40. The performance beat the meet-record time of 3:57.87 set by David Zenk back in 2005.
