Wyoming 3A, 4A Boys High School State Championships

GILLETTE, Wyoming, March 6. AT the Wyoming 3A Boys High School State Championships, Lander Valley secured the state title with 354.5 points. Kemmerer (168.5) and Douglas (138) placed second and third respectively. Laramie took first for the 4A Boys with 245 points, followed closely by Campbell County (234.5) and Kelly Walsh (204.5).

3A Results
Jordan Toppenberg, Alex Robinson, Nick Robinson, and Micah Burke (Lander Valley) combined for a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:45.17). A. Robinson also won the 100 freestyle (48.12).

Senior Garret Hamilton (Lander Valley) won the diving competition with a score of 422.90. His teammates Alan Mandel and Toppenberg placed second (361.00) and third (348.75) respectively.

Buffalo's Caleb Cohoon won the 200 IM (2:03.26) and 100 breaststroke (1:01.92).

A. Robinson and Burke teamed up with Alex Fowler and Dan Sabirzyanov in the 200 freestyle relay for a first-place finish (1:32.56). Fowler also won the 200 freestyle (1:50.27).

Lander closed the meet with a win in the 400 freestyle relay (3:28.37). N. Robinson, Craig Peil, Willie Ratz, and Fowler contributed to the win.

4A Results
Nick Dillinger, Colter Miller, Nick Hopson, and Rostyn Hamilton (Camels) won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:38.36. Dillinger had individual wins in the 200 IM (1:52.94) and the 100 (46.18) freestyle as well.

Kelly Walsh's Malachi Bennett took first in the diving competition (487.85) followed by Brock Martin (Evanston) (418.65) and Derek Campbell (Laramie) (396.45).

Senior Brett Kahler had a first-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.14). He also teamed up with Shane Nielsen, Jason Baker, and Chris Chamberlin for a win in the 200 freestyle relay (1:28.97).

Andrew Huddleston (Camels) finished first in the 500 freestyle (4:45.22). He closed the meet with teammates Tyler Haddix, Hamilton, and Dillinger in the 400 freestyle relay. The boys clocked a time of 3:18.07 for a first-place finish.
