Euro-Meet: Four More Meet Records Fall

LUXEMBOURG, January 24. THE second night of long course action at the Luxembourg Euro-Meet featured four more meet records.

Christian Kubusch posted a time of 1:48.73 in the men's 200 free, while Johannes Neumann ripped off a 27.91 in the men's 50 breast. Laurent Carnol claimed the men's 200 breast in 2:14.17. Meanwhile, Janne Schaefer gave the women a meet record with a 31.51 in the 50 breast.

Johannes Dietrich took home the men's 50 fly in 24.16, while Lena Kalla claimed the women's sprint fly title in 27.12.

While Kubusch won the men's 200 free title, Fransiska Jansen earned the women's 200 free crown in 2:02.54. In the 200 IM, Yannick Lebherz touched first among the men with a time of 2:03.33, while Theresa Michalak emerged from the women's final with a winning time of 2:17.60.

Helge Meeuw snatched the men's 100 back victory in 55.80 with Christin Zenner stopping the clock in 1:02.49 for the women's 100 back title. Anastasia Korotkov matched Carnol's 200 breast victory with a win among the women in 2:35.80.

The splash-and-dash freestyle events closed the night with Julien Sicot (23.23) and Petra Dallmann (25.91) taking the men's and women's 50 free titles, respectively.
