Eastern Swim Classic: Katie Hoff, Felicia Lee Shine

ATLANTA, Georgia. THE second night of swimming at the Eastern Swim Classic held in Atlanta, Ga., featured North Baltimore teammates Katie Hoff and Felicia Lee posting some quick swims.

Felicia Lee of North Baltimore opened the evening with a dominant victory in the women's 200 fly. She dropped a swift time of 1:56.91, while teammate Kendall Surhoff took second in 2:05.66. NBAC's Mike Thomas followed with a win in the men's 200 fly when he hit the wall in 1:52.02. Teammate Drew Cosgarea finished second in 1:53.75.

Katie Hoff took to the pool in the splash-and-dash with a winning time of 23.06 in the 50 free, while NBAC's Christie Raleigh touched second in 23.63. The men's 50 free crown went to T.J. Leon with a first-place effort of 20.70. Bjoern Hornikel finished second in 21.51.

Hoff returned in the women's 200 breast with a winning time of 2:12.41 with teammate Rachael Schaffer placing second in 2:21.89. Brennan Morris of NBAC picked up the men's 200 breast title in 2:09.57 with Graham Munger of Dynamo taking second in 2:10.42.

Lee crushed another competition field with a readout of 54.97 in the women's 100 back. Raleigh picked up another second in 57.74 just ahead of Parker Glass' 57.78. Leon earned a second win among the men with a time of 51.60 in the 100 back, while Cosgarea finished second in 52.22.

Hoff claimed her third title of the night with a 4:35.79 in the 500 free, finishing well ahead of NBAC's Jessie Krebs (5:00.27). Meanwhile, Cosgarea broke through with a win after posting a time of 4:33.57 in the middle distance free event. Morris took second in 4:34.83.
