Show Features: Adolph Kiefer Talks About Chicago’s Bid to Host 2016 Olympics

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 21. ADOLPH Kiefer, Olympic gold medalist and Hall of Fame inductee, talks on this special weekend edition of The Morning Swim Show about Chicago's bid to host the 2016 Olympics.

Speaking from his Chicago office, Kiefer talks in detail about the revised plans to build temporary spectator seating at the proposed swimming venue, instead of making everything in the facility permanent. This would allow the venue to continue to be used and reconstructed without the seating, much of which would never be used in future events at the pools. Kiefer also talks about the people who have been involved in helping Chicago win the bid, from President-elect Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey to Michael Phelps and Mayor Richard Daley.
