ECAC Championships

EAST MEADOW, New York, December 7. SUNY-Geneseo scored a total of 749 points to win the 2008 ECAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, N.Y. Stevens Institute of Technology finished in second place with 633 points and Keene State College finished in third place with 457 points.

College of Staten Island's Pavel Buyanov (Novasibirsk, Russia) earned swimmer of the meet while diver of the meet went to Nicholas Halbach (Wheat Ridge, Colo.) of the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Coach of the meet went to Scott Whitbeck of SUNY-New Paltz.

SUNY-Geneseo scored a total of 843 points to win the 2008 ECAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, N.Y. Stevens Institute of Technology finished in second place with 667 points and Gettysburg College finished in third place with 576 points.

Gettysburg College's Keira Heath (Greenwich, Conn.) earned swimmer of the meet while diver of the meet went to Ashley Tocheny (Johnson City, N.Y.) of Oneonta State. SUNY-Geneseo's Paul Dotterweich earned coach of the meet.
