Five-Star Andrew Saeta Picks College

PASADENA, California, November 8. SWIMMING World five-star recruit Andrew Saeta has made his call on a college destination.

Saeta, who swims for California Aquatics and preps at Pasadena Polytechnic, will be heading to Stanford next year. Saeta owns U.S. Olympic Trials cuts in the 100-meter back (57.61) and 200-meter back (2:04.43).

"I chose Stanford because I felt that I fit in with the guys, and the team more so than any other college that I was looking at," Saeta told Swimming World. "Stanford offers, in my opinion, the best combination of academics and athletics, which was something I really took into consideration when making decisions."

Saeta, who was profiled in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings profile series in June, joins five-star Payne Montgomery and three-star Aaron Wayne as public pledges to the Stanford men's class.
