Libby Trickett Changing Coaches

SYDNEY, Australia, October 1. LIBBY Trickett announced to the Australian press today that she would be changing training venues to Sydney. She will be leaving longtime coach Stephan Widmer for Eamon Sullivan's trainer Grant Stoelwinder.

"Before the Olympics, I thought I would retire, but with everything that happened (in Beijing) I realized I wanted to try and get even closer to my potential," Trickett told The Australian. "I came to the decision I was just really craving change and new stimulus. What we do (in training) is monotonous and time-consuming and tiring. You need to be rejuvenated at times."

Trickett won four medals in five events in Beijing. She walked away with gold in the 100 fly and the 400 medley relay, while earning silver in the 100 free. She also was a part of the bronze-medal 400 free relay for Australia.
