Fast Swimming: What's The Pool Got To Do With It?

PHOENIX, Arizona, July 4. THE Swimming Technique section in the July issue of Swimming World Magazine examines the relationship of fast pools and record breaking performances.

The article, Fast Pools and Fast Times, looks at what makes a pool fast. The main components of a fast pool include; deep water, lane width, lane lines, surface water collection and water quality and temperature. Find out how these properties come together to make fast water for competitive swimmers.
