Australian Grand Prix, Sydney: Hayden Stoeckel Posts Swift 100 Back Time

SYDNEY, Australia, July 5. HAYDEN Stoeckel checked in with a swift time in the 100 back at the Telstra Grand Prix held in Sydney.

Stoeckel clocked a time of 53.78, which is just .10 seconds off the Australian record of 53.68 set by Ashley Delaney earlier this year. Delaney wound up placing second in 54.05.

Meanwhile, Meagen Nay touched out Belinda Hocking, 2:09.06 to 2:09.21, in the women's 200 back, while Moss Burmester took the 200 fly in 1:56.11. Jessicah Schipper also took down Libby Trickett, 58.92 to 59.56, in the women's 100 fly.

Grant Hackett was also in action as he won the men's 400 free in 3:46.91.
