Charlotte UltraSwim: Kelsey Ditto, Troyden Prinsloo Earn Wins

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, June 5. KELSEY Ditto and Troyden Prinsloo earned distance victories during the first night of the Charlotte UltraSwim.

The wins gave Athens Bulldogs a quick start to the weekend as both Ditto and Prinsloo represent the team from Georgia.

Ditto wound up with the victory in the women's 800 free with a time of 8:39.51, while Whitney Sprague of NC Aquatics took second in 8:46.34. Aleksa Akerfelds of UT Aquatics nabbed third in 8:47.37.

In the men's 1500 free, Prinsloo stopped the clock in 15:16.53 for the triumph, while Ricardo Monasterio of Gator Swim placed a distant second in 15:35.28. C.J. Nuess, swimming for Pine Crest, finished third in 15:40.61.
