Russian Nationals: Anastasia Zueva Shines in 100 Back

MOSCOW, Russia, June 5. ANASTASIA Zueva proved that her Russian record 59.41 in the 100 back from March wasn't a fluke during this summer's Russian Nationals. Zueva checked in with a 59.85 to win the event going away in Moscow.

Meanwhile, Yuliya Efimova was unable to break her Russian record in the 100 breast set during semis with a 1:07.35 when she won the national title in the event during finals with a 1:07.70.

Natalia Sutyagina, in the only other women's event off the day, won the 50 fly in 27.17.

For the men, Russian-record holder Arkady Vyatchanin took the 100 back crown in 54.00, just half-a-second off his national standard of 53.50 set in 2006.
