Croatian National Short Course Records Fall at National Championships

SPLIT, Croatia, March 7. LAST weekend, four Croatian records fell during the nation's Short Course National Championships held in Split.

Vanja Rogulj dropped a pair of his own standards in the 50 and 100 breast. First, in the 50 he lowered his 27.72 from 2001 to 27.39. Meanwhile, he cut his 2004 time of 59.95 in the 100 to a 59.48.

Meanwhile, Sanja Jovanovic nipped her own women's 50 free mark of 25.43 set last December with a winning effort of 25.41.

Finally, a women's 400 medley relay squad from Primorje crushed the previous record of 4:16.32 set at this event last year when they clocked a 4:13.15.
