Exclusive Video Interview With Albert Subirats: NCAA Champion and Olympian

PHOENIX, Arizona, March 6. This month, University of Arizona senior Albert Subirats will try to repeat his historic feat at the NCAA Championships by winning the 100 fly and 100 back on the same day, something only one other person has done.

But there's more to Subirats than his victories on the college level. He tells SwimmingWorld.TV on page 15 of Swimming World about his bronze-medal performance at the 2007 World Championships in the 100 fly, the experience of racing in the 2004 Athens Olympics and what he looks forward to as a member of Venezuela's small swimming contingent in the Beijing Olympics.

Arizona Assistant Coach Augie Busch talks about the qualities Subirats has that helped him propel to the top of the swimming ranks, from his willingness to learn new things to his physical prowess.

Included in the video is race footage of Subirats, including his medal-winning swim in Melbourne.
