US Olympic Trials – Photos from Monday Evening

Monday was an exciting night of racing with two American records being set. The 200 Breast was my favorite event of the evening – watching Kristy Kowal swim to an American record and Amanda Beard stepping up and swimming a more aggressive first 100 to be in the race early on, and qualify for the second spot in the event. The scene after was an emotional "cry-fest" with Kowel and Beard after the race.

Hard to watch was Ron Karnaugh fade from first to fourth in the last 20m of the 200 IM.
