French Cup, Toulouse: Malia Metella, Mario Todorovic Double During First Day

TOULOUSE, France, February 22. DURING the first day of long course competition at the French Cup in Toulouse, France's Malia Metella and Croatia's Mario Todorovic each won a pair of titles.

Metella snared the 50 fly (28.19) and 50 free (26.07) events, while Todorovic picked up the same titles with wins in the 50 fly (24.77) and 50 free (23.75)

In the men's events, Anthony Pannier (800 free: 8:03.08), Xavier Lepretre (1500 free: 15:30.21), Camille Lacourt (50 back: 26.75) and Tony De Pellegrini (50 breast: 29.15) earned wins.

For the women, Margaux Fabre (800 free: 8:43.13) and Sharon Van Rouwendaal (1500 free: 16:37.47) won for the French, while Aleksandra Herasimenia (50 back: 29.71) and Ina Kapishinia (50 breast: 33.48) claimed triumphs for Belarus.
