Syracuse Swimming Picks Up Strong Pledge from Former Swimmer

SYRACUSE, New York, December 6. ORGANIZERS of Save Syracuse Swimming announced yesterday that Syracuse swimming alum Miro Vucetic just pledged $50,000 to help save the Syracuse swim teams.

Vucetic finished his career as a four-time All-American, three-time Jon Buzzard award recipient, three-time Big East Outstanding Swimmer, 1998 Robert and Pat Barlow award recipient and a 1995 All-Academic from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. Additionally, Vucetic closed his time at Syracuse with seven school and pool standards.
