Three More Meet Records Fall on Final Night of Clovis Speedo Sectional

CLOVIS, California, July 23. LAST night, three more meet records fell during long course meter competition as the Clovis Speedo Sectional came to a close.

Kate Dwelley of the Terrapins put the shine on a solid meet with a time of 1:00.45 in the 100 fly to clip the previous record of 1:00.51 set in 2001, meanwhile brother John Dwelley, also of the Terrapins, took down the men's 100 fly standard with a 55.01 to erase the 55.82 set in 2001. Cheyne Bloch of Swim Pasadena grabbed the third record with a time of 1:03.61 in the 100 breast to wipe out the 1:04.61 set in 2005.

In the 1500 freestyle events, Sara Sun of Swim Pasadena won the women's event in 17:05.33, while Kane Radford touched first for the men in 15:46.85.

Kelsey Klatt, 16, of the Fresno Dolphins, won the women's 100 back in 1:05.01, while Justin Carter, 16, of the Clovis Swim Club clocked a 58.39 to win the men's 100 back. Another teenager Kasey Carlson, 15 of the Terrapins claimed the women's 100 breast title in 1:11.67.
