Jana Klusackova Doubles During Final Night of Swimming at Czech National Championships

PRAGUE, Czech Republic, July 15. JANA Klusackova brought her gold-medal meet total to four with two more wins on the final night of swimming at the Czech National Championships held in Prague.

Klusackova touched out Sabina Dostalova in the 50 fly, 28.66 to 28.90, before finishing the meet with a 100 freestyle win in 56.29. Those performances gave her four national titles at the meet as she had previously won the 50 and 200 freestyle events.

Michal Rubacek swept the butterfly events on the men's side when he edged Zdenek Oharek, 25.04 to 25.20, in the 50 after winning the 100 and 200 earlier in the meet. The championship heat proved exciting as all swimmers finished within a second of Rubacek. Martin Slechta hit the wall in 25.98 to pick up eighth place.

Kvetoslav Svoboda moved his national title total to three at the meet when he dominated the 200 back in 2:03.24. Ondrej Cermak provided his closest competition with a second-place 2:13.42. Svoboda had already won the 200 and 400 freestyle events at the championships.

Additionally, Zdenek Frantisak doubled his breaststroke wins from the meet with a 29.42 in the 50 after winning the 100 breast previously.

Individual wins also came from Eva Jordova in the 50 breast (33.20), Anna Novakova in the 200 IM (2:22.80), Tomas Fucik in the 200 IM (2:05.86), Simona Baumrtova in the 200 back (2:18.93) and Martin Verner in the 100 free (50.54).
