Mirco Di Tora Sets Italian Record in 100 Back

LIVORNO, Italy, April 20. AT the Italian Long Course Spring Championships, Mirco Di Tora set an Italian record in the 100 back with a time of 55.49. The effort pipped the 55.50 previously established by Enrico Catalano on March 28, 2006.

Di Toro led the entire way with a 26.91 initial half before bringing it home in 28.58 for the record.

Damiano Lestingi placed second in 55.80, while Sebastiano Ranfagni took third in 55.94.
