Germans Continue to Prepare for World Champs

USTER, Switzerland, February 1. WHILE several German swimmers tuned up for the World Championships over the weekend in long-course action, a handful of National Team members competed in short-course action. Leading the way was Antje Buschschulte who won the 100 free (54.76), 100 butterfly (58.12) and 200 individual medley (2:11.53) at a meet in Switzerland.

Other performances from the German contingent included Paul Biedermann clocking in at 1:45.91 in the 200 free and 3:42.92 in the 400 free. Meanwhile, backstroker Helge Meeuw went 53.22 in the 100 back.
