Ohio Teams Down Xavier

ATHENS, Ohio, January 19. THE Ohio men's and women's swimming and diving teams defeated Xavier Friday afternoon at The Aquatic Center. The men won by a score of 137-119 to improve 4-1 on the season. The women won by a score of 153-102 to advance to an 8-2 overall record.

"Tonight's meet was very important," said Head Coach Greg Werner. "We're winding down the season and there is only a handful of opportunities left before we decide on our conference championship team."

The Bobcats will host their last home meet of the season tomorrow against conference rival Miami at 1 p.m. The `Cats will then close out the regular season with two meets on the road. The women travel to Marshall on Jan. 23 and both the men and women compete at Ball State on Jan. 27. Afterwards the MAC Championships begin with the women starting on Feb. 14 and the men on Feb. 22.
