Eight More Global Standards Fall at IPC Swimming World Championships

DURBAN, South Africa, December 7. WITH one more day of swimming left at the International Paralympics Committee Swimming World Championships, hosted by Disability Sport South Africa in Durban, competitors brought the total tally to 47 world record with eight more going down on the fifth day.

In the total world record standings, USA's Jessica Long pushed her leading tally to five after taking down the 400 Free S8 record. Meanwhile, Greece's Charalampos Taiganidis and China's Wang Xiaofu lead the men with four each. Both men took down records on the day.
