No. 8 USC Men Down No. 5 Arizona, No. 22 Arizona State

LOS ANGELES, California, November 11. THE No. 8 USC men's swimming and diving team posted a pair of Pacific-10 Conference dual meet wins, completing two days of races with a 107-33 win over No. 22 Arizona State and a 75-65 victory over No. 5 Arizona on Saturday (Nov. 11) at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium.

Senior Larsen Jensen posted perhaps the best swim of the afternoon, winning the 500y free in 4:17.59, an NCAA automatic qualifying time and only a half second off of his pool record set during the end of the 2005-2006 season.

Senior Mihaly Flaskay won the 200y breast (2:00.80, an NCAA `B' cut) to compliment his win in the 100y breast on Friday. Senior Viktor Bodrogi, who won the 200y fly on Friday, won the 200y back on Saturday in 1:45.67, an NCAA consideration time.

Senior Sam Masson took second in the 100y fly, an NCAA consideration time, and sophomore Vanni Mangoni was just off his own NCAA `B' cut in taking second in the 200y IM (1:49.38).

Senior Sean Sussex was USC's top finisher in the 100y free in 44.69, 0.04 off of an NCAA consideration cut.

USC's 400y free relay of Sussex, Richard Gosper, Tyler Wilson and Bryce Elser took second in an NCAA consideration time of 2:57.81.
