NCAA Men’s Top 10 Preview

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 3. HERE'S a glance at where the top-10 men's programs in the nation will be racing this weekend.

1. Auburn: Coming off a three-day invite in local waters, the Tigers will not compete this weekend. The men will next compete at the U.S. Open and will not participate in a dual meet until the New Year.

2. Stanford: So far, the Cardinal have enjoyed a successful season. They break this weekend to prepare for a heated rivalry against California next Wednesday. Watch to see which team comes out on top.

3. Texas: Not having competed in a dual meet this season, Texas opens its season with a challenging double-dual meet against California and Indiana. This meet is a featured Meet of the Week on SwimmingWorldMagazine.com.

4. California: The Bears travel to face two nationally-ranked teams this Friday and Saturday. Texas has not yet competed in a dual meet and Indiana boasts a 2-1 record. The Bears will attempt to extend their 2-0 record in what is sure to be an exciting meet.

5 (tie). Arizona: The Wildcats will dive into action for the first time this weekend. The men will host Wisconsin (2-0) and Santa Barbara at home as they look to open the season with a perfect record.

5 (tie). Minnesota: Coming off a victory against the No. 3 Gators, the Golden Gophers again travel for competition this weekend. This time the team will head to North Carolina for meets on Friday and Saturday.

7. Northwestern: The Wildcats pulled out a conference win over Indiana in the first meet of the season last weekend. The Northwestern men will attempt to compile a 2-0 record with another conference meet against Purdue.

8. Southern California: The Men of Troy continue their time off this weekend. Stay tuned next weekend for an exciting meet against both Arizona and Arizona State.

9. Georgia: Having already compiled a 5-0 record, the Bulldogs are set to face No. 11 Michigan on Friday and Saturday.

10. Florida: The Florida men will break from action this weekend after suffering two losses against Georgia and Minnesota. The Gators will be back in action on Nov. 10 with a challenging dual meet against Texas.
