Industry News: Bonkers Benches Offer Fundraising Vehicle For Swim Teams

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin, September 18. ONE Bonkers Bench ® has the potential of raising more than $5,000 for teams! The fundraising program allows for sponsors to display their logos as well as for area businesses, alumni, and current members to be recognized for their contributions to an organization.

“Our Bonkers Bench design originated as a pool storage and seating solution,” Gregg Schaafsman, Owner of E P Enterprises, LLC, said. “Because of that, the design takes into account all of the harsh conditions that pool environments dish out.

Every Bonkers product comes with a five- year limited manufacturer warrantee. Drainage holes and ventilation reduce the chance of mold and mildew forming in the bench. The use of non-porous materials eliminates the chance of mold growing into the materials. Corrosion and rust prohibitive materials such as aluminum and stainless steel are all standard. We anticipated the benches to be used indoors and outdoors so we incorporated UV resistant, weather resistant, fade and crack resistant materials that will hold up in either environment. We wanted the benches to enhance their surroundings, so we partnered with United Engraving Inc., in Waukesha, WI, to provide custom engraving on the shell of the bench. On top of all that, Bonkers Benches make a very profitable fundraiser for clubs, teams and schools.”

The Bonkers Fund Raiser Program is the key to turning a Bonkers Bench into a very profitable platform for fundraising. Many organizations have embraced the idea of using their Bonkers Bench(es) to raise money for their cause.

About E P Enterprises, LLC:
Needing a few benches for a high school pool, Coach Dale Shrank approached E P Enterprises, LLC Owner, Gregg Schaafsman. Shrank required the benches to support people sitting on them and provide locked storage. Having had other parents build storage benches for him in the past, Shrank expected the benches to be made of wood. What he got was the first four Bonkers Benches ever made. That was early 2004. Since then several improvements have been made but the basic design is still going strong. Visit them at www.bonkersbenches.com to see what’s new with Bonkers.
