New Resident Team Members -- October 18, 1996

United States Swimming announced today that they have accepted two new members to the national resident team in Colorado Springs. 1995 Pan American triple-gold medalist, B.J. Bedford and 1990 Olympic Festival champion, Jeff Cummings are the first two of perhaps 12 to 20 swimmers who may join the program. Additional swimmers will be interviewed and evaluated at the National Team camp in San Diego, Calif., Oct. 24-27.
