Guadalajara Tabbed as Pan Am Games Host for 2011

GUADALAJARA, Mexico, June 30. THE 16th edition of the Pan American Games, scheduled for 2011, is headed for Guadalajara, Mexico. The decision was made at a meeting of the Pan American Sports Organization. Guadalajara had bid for the 2003 Games, but lost out to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. The 2007 Pan Am Games will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
