About The FINA World League

A few years back, the leaders in the world of water polo came up with a simple idea: To take the sport to the next level by pitting the world's best teams against one another each year in a season format with nearly half a million dollars on the line. Their ambitions were furthered by incorporating extended quarters to yield higher scores and television requirements to bring the sport to the biggest audience possible. Now, five years later, the league is a hit worldwide.

The FINA World League is the sport's first true international league. Though still in its infancy, the league promises to provide top-notch, Olympic-caliber competition year in and year out across the globe.
