Unfiltered to be Part of Tribeca Film Festival

NEW YORK, March 8. UNFILTERED, the documentary that focuses on the rivalry between Michael Phelps and Ian Crocker, will be part of the annual Tribeca Film Festival, scheduled for April 25-May 7 in New York City. The documentary on the two Olympians will be shown during the family festival portion of the event. The DVD was released last October.

The documentary focuses on the two athletes during training in the four months leading up to the 2005 World Championships in Montreal. The documentary details the swimmers' accomplishments and work in the pool, in addition to their lives outside of the water.

The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002, in part by Robert De Niro, as a response to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The festival celebrates New York City as the world capital of independent films. It is also designed to aid in economic and cultural revitalization of Lower Manhattan.
