UNLV Women Post Win at NEW MEXICO

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. February 6. THE UNLV women’s swimming and diving team won it second Mountain West Conference swim meet in as many days, this time a 133-95 win at New Mexico on Saturday afternoon. The meet wasn’t nearly as close as the score indicated, as the Rebels not only won the first eight events, they placed one-two in six of the first eight events before exhibitioning the final five races of the day to finish the regular season with a 7-4 record, 6-2 in the MWC.

Marina Sandback was a double-event winner for UNLV, taking the 50 (24.45) and 100 frees (52.77). Also winning events on the day for UNLV was Kari Nettenstrom in the 1000 free (11:06.85), Lani Seaman in the 200 free (1:58.67), , Ana Danglakova in the 400 IM (4:37.08), Tiffany Vincent in the 100 fly (1:00.01), and Jessie Bradshaw in the 100 back (49.75). Nichole McLean added a win on the 3-meter board (260.55), while Bradshaw, Bailey Kuestermeyer, Vincent, and Lauren Browning took first in the 200 medley relay in 1:49.63.
