Arrowhead Girls Lower Own National Record in 200 Medley Relay

MADISON, Wisconsin, November 13. LAST year was nothing compared to what Arrowhead High School accomplished on Friday night at the Wisconsin Division I State Championships.

A year after establishing a national public school record in the 200-yard medley relay, Arrowhead took the mark to greater heights when it clocked in at 1:42.71. That time, produced by Andrea Boritzke, Maggie Zblewski, Katie Eschenburg and Nicole Landisch broke the former mark of 1:43.16. Boritzke, Zblewski and Landisch were members of the team that set the record last season.

Arrowhead, which won the team title, received a backstroke leg of 26.12 from Boritzke and watched Zblewski handled the breaststroke leg with a split of 28.82. Eschenburg followed with a fly split of 24.89 and Landisch brought the team home in 22.88. Eschenburg is a junior while the other members of the relay are seniors.
