Results Submission Help
Read the instructions below for more help on
submitting results to the results database.
1. First Gather Your Results In Text Format
The first step towards submitting your results to the
results program is to get your results in text format.
The results program will only support pure .txt format. Do
not add your own HTML to the results as this will only lead
to less than desired formats.
2. Logon To The Results Program
Select the link that states "Submit Results." This
will take you through the result submission wizard. First
enter information about the meet. Provide the meet name,
(U.S. National Championships) for example. Then
select the meet day. If the results cover only the first
day of the competition, then select 1. If your file contains the entire
meet then select the entire meet. Mark if the file is prelims
only by checking the "prelims only" checkbox. Enter the meet
start and end dates. If the meet is a three day meet and you
only have day 1, please mark the start and end dates of the
entire meet, not just the results you are uploading.
Enter the location of the meet, your email address and any
other comments.
3. Upload Your Results File
The meet submission form will take you to the upload
meet file form. Use the "browse" button to find the text file
on your computer. When you have found the file, press the
"next>>" button. Note: You may have to change the file type
on the dialog box to "All File Types"
If you do not have a browse button, then your
browser may not support file upload. You should use Microsoft
Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher, or Netscape Navigator
version 3.0 or higher.
4. Preview Your Results File
Preview the results file and make any changes as necessary
by selecting the "edit" or the "re-upload results file" buttons
at the top of the page. When you are satisified with your submission
press the "finish" button.
