YMCA Nationals Race Video: Maddy Zimmerman, Brad Zdroik First To The Wall In 50 Fly

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, August 4. MADDY Zimmerman of Upper Main Line and Brad Zdroik of Somerset Valley both picked up wins in the 50 fly finals at last week’s YMCA National Long Course Championships at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Women’s 50 Fly

Upper Main Line’s Maddy Zimmerman, who had already won the 100 fly earlier in the meet, got to the wall first in the women’s 50 fly, stopping the clock in 28.00 for her second victory. Cheshire’s Amy Zhao touched two tenths later in 28.20, followed by Fanwood Scotch’s Sarah Davis, who picked up her team’s first top three finish with a 28.25.

Men’s 50 Fly

In the men’s 50 fly final, Somerset Valley’s Brad Zdroik gave his team a chunk of much-needed points, out-touching Cheshire’s Joseph Shepley at the wall, 25.33 to 25.35. Seth Maslowski of Triangle Area touched third in 25.97.
