YMCA Nationals Race Video: Caitlynn Moon, Grant House Take Home 200 Free Wins

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, August 2. CAITLYNN Moon of Kishwaukee and Grant House of Countryside added to their win totals as both swimmers touched first in the 200 freestyle on night three. Moon had already won the 1500 free on night one, while House won the 400 free and then the 200 free one day later.

Women’s 200 Free

Moon picked up her second win of the meet, adding to her win and YMCA national record in the 1500 free on night one, with a 2:02.62 in the women’s 200 free. She just out-touched Countryside’s Ali Marsteller, who came in at 2:02.69. Maggie Werba of Oshkosh came in third at 2:04.07.

Men’s 200 Free

After setting a national record and winning the 400 free on the second night of competition, Countryside’s Grant House picked up another win, this time in the 200 free. House hit the wall in 1:51.12, only .02 in front of Ocean County’s Zachary Molloy (1:51.14). Colin Ellington of Triangle Area, winner of the 50 free, took third in 1:53.66.
