Winn Aung Knocks Down Yet Another National Age Group Record

UKIAH, California, July 28. JUST one day after taking down one National Age Group record, Winn Aung broke another at the 57th Annual Ukiah Dolphins Soroptomist meet. After setting a short course yards mark of 53.12 in the 100 free on Saturday, he clipped the 50 free record today with a 24.42, under the 24.46 that Michael Andrew set to lead all 10-and-under boys three years ago.

The additional record makes five for Aung over the past few weeks, as he previously broke the 50, 100, and 200 free records in long course. This short course meet gave him one final chance to break marks as a 10 year old before he ages up next week.

Also at the meet, Aung set new Sierra Nevada LSC records in the 50 (28.24) and 100 fly (1:00.78), and he also won the 50 back in 30.45.
