Wide Variety Of Meet Results Await Readers In For The Record Section of July’s Edition Of Swimming World Magazine

PHOENIX, Arizona, July 12. RESULTS from international, national, college and high school state championship competitions comprise this month's content of For The Record.

The Australian Telstra meet leads off where Libby Trickett set a world record in her specialty, the women's 100 meter butterfly.

The TYR Swim Meet of Champions and the Santa Clara International provided final stage tune-ups for athletes preparing to compete at U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. Results featuring the top three finishers in each event are included for these competitions.

Rounding out the content in For The Record are results of boys and girls high school state championships. A total of 27 such events are featured. In addition to top three finishers of each event, team standings are also included.
