One day after getting off of a plane from an international flight, USA two-meter man Chris Humbert showed no signs of jet lag. The 6-7 U.S. standout burned Croatia for five goals in an 11-9 win in day two of the UPS International Cup.
The game was tied at 9-9 with 4:40 left to play in the game when Humbert connected from the hole to put the U.S. up 10-9. Then, for good measure, Humbert caged the insurance goal with 1:25 remaining for the final margin.
The U.S. also made the most of their power-play opportunities, cashing in on 6 of 10 advantages.
Team USA goalkeeper Dan Hackett finished the day with nine saves in goal.

Italy shot a hefty 5 for 7 on man-advantages en route to a 10-5 win over Australia. Australia fell behind early and trailed, 5-1, at the half.
The Aussies were able to sneak back into the game on goals by Dean Semmons and Nathan Thomas in the third quarter, but the Italian offense woke up in the fourth and rattled off four goals to put the contest out of reach.
Italy's Leonardo Sottani had another good day in the water, this time scoring three goals. Italian goalkeeper Marco Gerini stopped eight shots on goal in the win.

Yugoslavia jumped out to an early lead over Team UPS and never looked back, en route to a 12-6 win. Team UPS converted on only 1 of 8 extra-man opportunities, compared to Yugoslavia's 5 of 8 night.
Yugoslavia's Aleksandar Sapic led all shooters with three goals. Team UPS keeper Merrill Moses had a solid day in the cage, picking up 11 saves on the night.
Team UPS loses their second game in as many days, while Yugoslavia remains undefeated in the tournament.
