By Brian Savard

FEDERAL WAY, Washington, March 2. SNOHOMISH strung together its third consecutive Washington men's 4A high school title, and the team will enter next season on the brink of creating a dynasty.

Only two seniors grace the Panthers' state championship roster, putting the young Snohomish team in a solid position for years to come.

Snohomish took the state title by pulling in 247 points throughout the course of the two-day championship meet. Kamiak compiled 187 points and took second while Richland finished up in third with 147 points.

The Panther men captured two relay wins. Snohomish's 200 medley relay contingent of Eric Pedack, Garren Riechel, Bryan Harvey and Nick Hryciuk turned in a time of 1:36.87, a time that won the event by just less than two seconds. Logan Goodman, Hryciuk, Pedack and Riechel bested the competition in the 400 freestyle relay as well, winning in 3:13.38 clocking.

No swimmer won two individual events.

Ben Nicholas of Botchell stood atop the podium in the diving competition, scoring a 413.70. Redmond's Max Klassen scored a 398.35 and took second while Robert Scully of Davis placed third with 383.70 points.
