Virginia swimming and diving head coach Todd DeSorbo announced the 2017-18 schedule on Wednesday (Sept. 6). The program will host four ACC home meets throughout the season.

“We’ve got a great schedule that will challenge both our men’s and women’s programs and help prepare us for the championship season in March,” head coach DeSorbo said. “This schedule features competition that will bring out the best in our student-athletes and provide great opportunities to race and evaluate where we are at during the season, and provide us valuable feedback related to our training progressions. Our staff and athletes are excited about kicking off the season soon and looking forward to advancing this program to new heights. This season should make for great catalyst into the future for UVA swimming & diving with our new coaching staff and new vision for the program.”

The season begins with a tri-meet against Pitt and LSU in Pittsburgh, Pa., before the team returns home for back-to-back meets. Virginia will host Duke on Nov. 3 before facing Princeton and top-15 men’s and women’s program Louisville on Nov. 10-11.
