MANASSAS, Virginia, February 13. A heavy mix of snow and ice along the Eastern seaboard has caused the organizers of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s swimming and diving championships to adjust the schedule of this weekend’s meet.

Instead of breaking the meet in half and swimming prelims and finals of the first 12 events on Friday followed by the prelims and finals of the remaining events on Saturday, preliminaries of all 22 swimming events will take place on Friday. The session starts at 2:45 p.m. at the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center.

Finals for all swimming events will begin Saturday at 3:25 p.m. As for diving, there will a finals-only session beginning Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. for the boys field and approximately 11 a.m. for the female divers.

The live stream of the meet has been rescheduled to reflect the change in start times. Go to VISAA.tv to watch the webcast!
